Where do I find ship statistics?

Demons are good ships, they were popular with bounty hunters in Gemini Sector for a reason, pirates would have to be pretty well connected to field those. Thankfully they couldn't afford Centurians.

So you are saying that Centurions would thereby be better than Hellcats?? If a bit slower?

In Privateer, the standard Centurion was very close in performance and armament to the Kilrathi Gothri heavy fighter favored by cat privateers. It had an aft turret and was capable of mounting a jump drive. This would be like the ones you would fly against if you ran into one that was hostile. Mine was not standard, lol (the Centurion was one of the ships you could purchase in Privateer). I had four tachyon cannons and the autotracking gun mount upgrades, which is just a couple of Reaper guns short of the firepower of the Excalibur.

I already know that; I said it was slower. I'm just trying to figure out an apples to apples comparison, is all.

I am comparing the stats on the WCNEWS site as the Centurion is sadly not included in WCSaga so there is no direct in game comparison between them yet, and the Centurion and Hellcat have never been in the same game together before. Though Privateer and Wing Commander III both do take place in 2669, they are very different in style and execution. The Confed fighters in Privateer were the Stiletto and the Broadsword bomber, and In-System-Security flew Talons and the Gladius heavy fighter.

If a Centurion is included in Saga at some point whether by patch or by a mod somewhere down the road, the stats would more than likely be adjusted to better fit the game engine, so it may not end up exactly the same as the "official" stats.

The Hellcat can catch the Centurion in an afterburn but the Centurion is actually faster at standard speed (it is quite fast and agile for a heavy fighter). The Hellcat's top speed is 420 standard and 1200 in afterburn, and the Centurion is 500 standard and 1000 in afterburn. The Centurion also has heavier guns and a rear turret with mass drivers, which are for example the same guns in the Kilrathi Paktahn bomber rear turret. The Centurion would make a very dangerous target for a Hellcat.

Of course this is assuming the standard stats for the Centurion. One that is fully upgraded and armed would chew through Hellcats like the Excalibur chews through Dralthi (the Kilrathi equivalent to the Hellcat). So in other words a fully armed and upgraded Centurion is ludicrously overpowered for a civilian ship.
