Where do I find ship statistics?

Hi there, I was wondering where I can find full ship and equipment statistics in this game? Is it online? Will it be posted somewhere? I'm interested in the statistics the game actually uses. Thanks!

That has descriptions, not statistics.... at least that I can find.

The actual numbers are the same as in wc3. what exactly do you need them for?

You can take a look over at at www.wcnews.com/ships/ although that data is not going to be complete or fully accurate for WC:SAGA. Alternately you can download VPView32 from FSMods www.freespacemods.net/download.php?view.635 and use it to extract the "ships.tbl" file from the "hermes_core.vp" archive in the "Program Files/Wing Commander Saga" directory. That is the file with all of the raw ship data.

And hunh. The Rapier II seems to have the best maneuverability of anything in the game...

Hunh. It looks like the Demon may very well have better statistics than the Hellcat (!)...

Also, how come you all left the Ekapshi with Meson cannons and left Meson cannons as unable to work in atmosphere? I think one of those things should change...

That is just background fluff from WC3's Victory Streak manual. The fact is that the Ekapshi had Meson guns in WC3 in mission and so that is what the team chose to use in Saga. However I too noticed that WC3 inconsistency years ago myself.

Very simple. Do you have any idea how many things we had to check (as basically a two man team + a handful of testers) before this release? Something like this... was not even remotely on our list of priorities.
