I had to add my thanks as well. While I had heard of WC I played Xwing vs Tie Fighter, Starlancer and a few other space sims. For a few years all space sims have dried up. You pilots that have been thru the series have an advantage to I would like to learn quickly because this is one awesome game. My jstick has 14 buttons and still not enough. I'm a 65 year old man and can't even remember what keys I programmed where. lol They say the mind is the second thing to go and I can't remember the first. Again thanks so much.

The best thanks you guys can give us is play the game, then come back here and discuss your favorite moments with us and also tell us what we could do better next time we might make someting like this (but no, it won't be for free next time and it won't be another Wing Commander )

I'm an old man and haven't BOUGHT a game in years. Mainly because I lose interest quickly. If this game would allow CO-OP mode for the 50 missions, I would buy it in a minute. But please don't make it a pay to play game as my wife would kill me with another bill every month. I can see years of playing this game in CO-OP mode. I have recently re-installed Starlancer and have played the 24 missions again for over 100 times each. I wish I could code like my son. He could help you guys and maybe you would give me a Senior discount. lol Don't let us down like Microsoft and Lucasarts did. You guys are sitting on a gold mine. 50k copies in 24 hours should tell you something.

If you guys are look for a beta tester for CO-OP mode, Please let me know. I'm retired and have lots of time.

This game will never cost you anything. coop however I cannot promise but we'll see.

Oh, and as I might be the first to have tested this, it works flawlessly on Windows XP Professional x64 Edition!

I think I'm gonna go through the Campaign again, just for the fun it provides. I was a BIG fan of Wing Commander III as a child, and I loved Wing Commander Armada. Now, after WC3, this is my second most favorite Wing Commander Game ever! Maybe it's becoming the absolute favorite after I have looked at the actual graphics of WC3 again.

Wing Commander 1 was my first video game. Picture a five year old fresh off Starwars, looking in amazement at a cinematic masterpiece about space tigers. What you've done is transported me back to 1990. Thank you.
