A BIG THANK YOU !!!

As a old school "Wing Commander" fan and gamer I just wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU to the Incredible Team behind WC:Saga . Also as a fellow modder and industry veteran I know how hard it is to organize and pull off a project of this size. You've all done a BRILLIANT job and I truly can't wait to get my hands on the release tomorrow.

My first Wing Commander experience came on the Super Nintendo console port of the first WC. Next was WC:Secret Missions. Then came Privateer and Privateer 2. The last official WC title I played was WC:Prophecy. Of course I know WC:Saga isn't technically "Official" but it's close enough in my book to count as such. Since I found out about WC:Saga just a few days ago I've been devouring every bit of information on it as I can and I must say the game looks AMAZINGLY well done.

Just know that there are plenty of us old school aces out here in Confederation Space that appreciate all the hard work and effort that has went into WC:Saga. Thank You for giving us the ability to re-live those old memories of fighting the Kilrathi once again. If you guys accept donations or anything please let me know.

Congrats on the completion and eminent release of your endeavor. You all shall go down in Wing Commander history and the Terran Confederation owes you all a mighty debt.

Ditto. I have been watching this for a little while... 10 years.. that is dedication to a old great title.

The original Wing Commander was one of my first games (I remember trying to find a Sound Blaster card just so I could enjoy it more)... and the WC games I still rate in my all time favorites (WC, WC II, Privateer, WC Prophecy, WC Armada and even Privateer 2).

WOW it´s so amazing!!! I can´t wait to download the game today! Still remember back in the days as a young boy playing WC1 & WC2 also later the Privateer Games and WC3. Never had so much fun playing on my old 386 and 486 like in those days. Also a really big THANK YOU from my side for bringing back that good old feeling.

I have to concur with all that has been said before WC was the BEST out at the time and I just loved the games, pity the film sucked vacuum hard.... Does anyone know where I could get a copy of privateer for the PC?

I agree. Ten years of hard work and then releasing a game like this for free...you're already a god among modders! *g*

Less then 7 hours left, can't wait! Guess the normal servers will be rather busy, I hope some people could setup a torrent for this. I'd be willing to share as long as possible.

I would also like to say Thank You to Anton and the rest of the development team. It has been a thrill for me to record videos for you all to enjoy and to help pass the time over until this milestone and, in my opinion, a historic day for wing commander and the modding community arrives.
I did my best to give an interesting first look without giving too much away by failing missions and taking them in odd directions.

SO.. to everyone who watched my deep and heartfelt thank you. To the Dev team thank you for trusting me to not leak this game out. And to Anton for working with me and for all the information about the development of this wonderful addition to the Wing Commander mythos.
