Warthog Hotas

Would anyone who has successfully set up the functionality of this joystick, please tell me how they managed it.
I have gone blue in the face trying. It seems that unless you have a very basic stick, without a separate throttle, it is an impossibility.
I have read about using either Target or PPjoy but one needs the game up and running to read the lists of possible actions, so how on earth does one do it.
Is it possible that someone out there as a list of these actions?
If someone as made a profile for either of these applications, please be a nice chap and let me have a copy.

I have a similar problem ... joystick sets up fine in the launcher menu and then in game, nothing.

I am also facing this problem. Does anyone know about the solution of this problem.
