yaw when pressed [request]

hi, i would like to know if "yaw when pressed" button can be made for saga?

What is that button? What does it do?

umm, it's like if you are piloting an F-15 in space, like having to roll on x-axis instead of yaw, and using yaw as pedals.

Not sure what exactly you mean either, and maybe there's a misunderstanding about the axis as well.


Yaw:
left and right, fly a "curve"



Pitch:
up and down, fly a "loop"



Roll (Bank in WC Saga):
roll left and right, turns you upside down, without changing the direction



All three axes can be oprated with a joystick or a keyboard binding, but only Yaw and Pitch with the mouse (as far as I know).


Then there's the Glide function as well (ALT+G), which allows you to turn in any of the three axes without changing the direction of your flight, but only the Arrow and the Excalibur have this feature.

Yes, but there's no bind for joystick to "Yaw when pressed" on the game itself, there's only "Bank when pressed" button though, which I used to do in X-Wing games.

Ah, just've seen that Roll is called Bank in the Freelancer/WC Saga options.
And you're right, there is no "Yaw when pressed" button, but there's a "Bank axis" setting, which you can bind to your joystick.

Or are you trying to assign the X-Axis of your joystick to bank/roll by default instead of turning left and right, and only turn left/right instead of roll when you press an additional button? That doesn't seem to be possible, as it's the exact opposite of what is intended. There may be a way around this, but I wouldn't know it.
