Given the amount of work cockpits are, I would say that this is highly unlikely, unless someone knows a modeler willing to put time and effort into this.
This is the reason why very few FS mods feature them, despite their awesomeness immersion wise (
, I'm looking at you).
Ok Thanks for the reply i was thinking more static than virtual cockpits like in WC3 (Below ) they were still impressive and just added something....But it doesnt effect the game its still awsome and it certainly wont stop me playing
I used the Vasudan Admiral's Generic Cockpit mod and it works pretty well except sometimes the cockpit shakes abit, even when nothing is happening. I have used the same mod for freespace and various mods and I've not had this issue there. I don't even notice it in combat but when it's quiet it looks odd. Any idea what causes it and how to remove the shaking?
Hmm, I'm not entirely sure, but I think cockpits are more sensitive to floating point errors than the HUD, making the shaking noticable much earlier => the further away you from the center of the mission, the more things shake.
I've had the "shaking cockpit" issue with Diaspora as well, so I don't think there is much that can be done about it, as that problem would have to be addressed in-engine.
