Just for clarification: the Mac OS X and Linux ports (aside from the launcher) are both finished (and have been for over a month now) - some issues, that are totally unrelated to the development process or the team per se, have forced us not to release these ports in June as we originally planned.
First of all, thanks to you and the team for all the effort in reviving this franchise. Really looking forward to playing a Wing Commander game again after so many years. Got a little teaser of your game on my cousin's Windows box, and I'm eagerly awaiting the Linux port so I don't have to lobotomise my system in order to play it.
It's good to see that you guys are still committed to releasing OS X and Linux versions. But a little mention on the front page, or at least in the FAQ, wouldn't hurt. The FAQ mentions Linux and OS X, but as the last news post on the front page is from way back in April, the project looks abandoned to those who don't dig deeper into the forums.
I ask cause Diaspora is bound to cause a stir with the Mac press (It always does cause there are so few Mac games compared to Windows) and I've linked WCS so you'll soon be getting more Mac gamers who want to play the game.
