Y U NO have cockpits

Hi,

first of all.. great ! I've been waiting so long for a spacesim which is like this last game i remember which made me feel playing a spacesim is starlancer... no mouseaming and such... ah.. great...

but why are there no cockpits ? all the OSD information could have been packed into one cool 3d cockpit... for my part all the same in each fighter... i would have had no problem with that..

sry. i just love cockpits... it cant be tight enough see

I kinda missed the cockpits as well, but WC4 had none, and neither Freespace did. Given what the final product turned out to be, I can't really complain.

yeah.. but it looks so naked...

A full wc3 cockpit with mapped instruments was not possible with this engine.

Will the "show ship" command work for WC saga? Or were the cockpits not modeled at all? I'm going to guess they weren't.
