Can not Start first Mission - Game freezes

Hi
I can not play "darkest Dawn"

I can view the first film, go to the Mission-Room, view the first Debriefing (Brimstone 1) - all so good.
But to end the Briefing i have to click on "commit" - and then the game freezes.

I thought updating my graphics driver and lowering Resolution and graphic Features might repair it, but no way.

Applying the Patch 1.1.0.7822 doesnt change anything....

Any Ideas would be apreciated.

"commit" could be the first point the 3d graphics kick in if thats the case can you tell us more about your computer like what are its specs and hardware? also can you run the same zip file on other machines no problem?

Hi folks

After updating the graphics driver without success i changed the graphics card - and now it runs!

Seems like "mormon_boy" is right and the 3d funktion of the old one didnt manage the game.

The old one has been an Intel Onboard X35 - the new one is an Ati HD 5600 which has been laying around.

Im shur not everybody has an obsolete graphic card by hand, but for me it did it.
