How about Coop?

Never played Wing Commander somehow, but I was a strong fan of the X-Wing, TIE-fighter series. Proudly defending the Emperor in his shuttle an wreaking havoc on the pirate scum with my TIE-Defender.

Well, anyway. I guess Wing Commander is something quite similar in terms of game mechanics.

My questions was: what about COOP. Is anything planned in that regard? Couldn't find any info.

Multiplayer is not supported on relase. Whatever happens to MP will depend on how much demand there is and how much time and energy we have left to put into this. Please understand that we are incredibly pumped out after this. We'll see, no promises.

Sure. No problem. Just wanted to know. A game about Wingmen is sort of predestined to be played with friends. Perhaps the future will bring something like that.

I wish I knew some programming to help out with. I have loved the Wing Commander series, imo it was one of the best around. I am so excited you guys have done this. Didnt find out about till yesterday, probably a good thing since now I just have to wait a day

Thanks guys. This is awesome. I've been looking for a good space sim since Starlancer. I love to do missions and this is right up my alley. I belong to a flight squadron call Alpha Strike Force (ASF) since the late 90ies playing Xwing vs Tie Fighters. Visit us at www.alphastrikeforce.net if you get the chance. We have been doing FPS games since Starlancer and everyone there would love to see a multiplayer space sim. Until then I've dusted off my Saitek J-stick and will enjoy the missions.
