Wing Commander Saga saw 50k downloads in 24 hours
FROM: Rear Admiral Tolwyn, CINCWEAPONSDIVISION
DATE: 2012.24.03
Swarms of users rushed to download the game client at nineteen hundred hours. Our release was met with such extraordinary demand that our website was unavailable at first due to server flooding. These numbers are pretty remarkable, and a solid indication that space sims are still alive and well!

I also just started with it. It feels idd like Wing Commander with a bit of Freespace which is pretty cool. But I have to agree with sbw and farenheit. You can't just stop now. We still need remakes of WC 1,2,4 and don't forget Privateer. :D
Anyway thx for the game. From what I saw till now it's the most professional remake.

People, you should give the team credit instead of demanding more. Including the prologue, you are looking at 60 missions, that's about three usual WC games and most missios are more complex and a hell of a lot longer.
Be happy instead of making demands. This is a great product.

The site going down on release date just shows the immense fan base. You all have done a fantastic job. Thank you for adding another chapter to this game.
Still waiting for the OSX version, but no hurry. from what I have read and seen so far it will be worth the wait.
Thanks again. Great job

Amazing!!!
It's been 10 years since I saw the first news about Wing Commander Saga. It was one of the reasons back then, to buy a Sidewinder 2 Joystick. Today I had the opportunity to play this amazing homage to one of the best games ever created, using that same Joystick. What Experience!
Thank you!!!!
P.S.: We have many Wing Commander fans here in Brazil!

Flashback
THX to the team that made this happen. Played through the first Prologue missions and it felt like back in the days
. The FS-Engine still does a really good job.
Sadly Gameport-Devices are not supported, so my old Thrustmaster FS won´t come into action. Anyone has a good recommendation for an USB-Flightstick ?

I aks for...
What a game guys,
only played through the first ten missions, but that was already amazing. Never imagined the FS2 engine to look that great.
Anyhow, i would be one to ask for the multiplayer, especially coop. That puts back some good old LAN memories.........like it.
