We'd like to say thanks to all our fans out there with two small presents from us this holiday season. The first is a choice selection of screenshots showcasing the main menu of the game. For years people have been asking us to show it, and now we have. We have tried to make the main hall a compelling hub for the game that provides ambiance and atmosphere. We have tried to pay close attention to detail so that when you “step into” the main hall, you will feel the buzz and cadence of life aboard a space-borne carrier.
The second present isn’t being released today (couldn’t we all use a little help with our delayed gratification?). It will be released over the course of the next few days. But, here’s a hint: it will be of particular interest to our German fans, and no, it’s not the prologue.

During the course of the campaign Sandman is stationed aboard TCS Hermes. So no, we will have just one main hall.

Though I'd shift light percentage more to ambient.
You know, the floor etc. surfaces are light-gray, so gradients seem too sharp, the shadows too dark.

Nice news for the german fans like me.But one question about it: Sometime ago you told me, i think it was in a comment to another news, that there will be no german version of the game.

Fantastic. FS2 had a great main hall so I was looking forward to Saga having something similar in WC style. You surely didn't disappoint.Just one question: is the hall on the same level as floor of the flight deck?
About the hight of the Mainhall, its far above the runway.I don't quite remember but you are about 1-2 Longbows in hight above the flightdeck.
