Know Thy Enemy: Kilrathi Capital Ships - Entry 6: Ralarrad
FROM: Rear Admiral Tolwyn, CINCWEAPONSDIVISION
DATE: 2009.28.06
For today's update we would like to showcase our final version of the Kilrathi Ralarrad-class light destroyer.
One of the most prevalent Kilrathi warships found on the front lines, the Ralarrad-class light destroyer is a maneuverable multi-purpose vessel that is equally competent in picket duties, fleet escort, and strike missions. Carrying a token fighter complement, the light destroyer is a mainstay workhorse of the Kilrathi war machine, wielding the energy weapons to effectively engage in anti-aircraft duties as well as the missile strike capability to pose a serious threat to larger Terran capital ships.

Wow! :eek I am not sure but I think this might be the first time you have shown a ship bigger than a fighter that was previously seen in the prologue in its finale form. In comparing it to the one in the prologue the detail is amazing. It will be interesting to see how any weapon and ship re-balance will effect its performance in game. It certainly looks more menacing.

You are absolutely right! I think it is safe to mention now, that all kilrathi models, minus the asteroid base are finished and are currently awaiting Q&A approval. ;)
Gameplay wise we changed quite a few things. Prologue feedback was overwhelming and we learned quite a lot of, uh, stuff, how we could improve the gameplay both in terms of better balancing and tighter mission flow.
On a rainy day I might fire up FRAPS and record a gameplay video. ;)

Ive played the game and think its amazing, by far the best one ive played. So i figured Id give some feedback. I found that when I was under attack I didnt seem to take to much damage to my guns Comms etc. In stead I was just watching the Hull get worse and worse. I think that being in the middle of combat and having to wait a few seconds for SOMETHING to come back online made it very tense, maybe its just me but it doesnt seem to happen as much in saga.
BUT dont get me wrong if could sacrifice a goat and get a full version tomorrow I would. Keep it up guys!! :grin
