possible bug not sure

I just got done with the longbow missions and I hardly ever took damage, even on destroy the starbase mission and I had missile after missile hitting me my hull never went below 78 percent can you just not die on this mission or what. Same with taking out the big warship that tormented you thru so many systems. Im playing on normal. I also just finished the first Excalibur mission and only took one percent damage is this normal. even at one pt I put all my energy to weapons and still nothing. did I encounter a bug or what.

Sounds weird, though a player-flown Longbow on normal has got to be pretty beefy. You could try letting the AI shoot you a bit more, see if you genuinly take much less damage than you should. Although, keep in mind that you might just be getting better. I remember having much less trouble with flying & dying in the later parts of the campaign as I got used to the flight model & AI behavior.

Also note that the Excalibur is a rather monstruous fighter, better in almost every way compared to the fighters you've flown so far. It's tougher than the Thunderbolt, carries more primary firepower, faster & more agile than the Hellcat, etc.

I talked to a dev named luke and he said there have been bugs like that. after I rebooted the game its back to normal. I have found on the normal difficulty setting you can take damage quite easily normally
