+1
I had never truly heard of Wing Commander, nor had the want to play it. But as soon as I found out about this, I instantly knew this was going to be my GOTY.
Having a purely fan made game on such a massive scale is quite a first as well

hey, your trailer was the first thing i saw about this project, and it just blew me away, especially your choice for music makes this trailer just that awesome as it is. i never heard from "shockwave sound" so far, but they are least on the same level like "two steps from hell", "x-ray dog" and so on, very good choice belonging to music. in combination with the gameplay graphics you showed us, the "texting passages", what more can you want for a good game-trailer? nothing.
its just perfect. the visuals. the music. great job!!

A tid bit of information on the trailer, I've had several people who do not play computer games and some who are even slightly opposed to them watch the trailer. In every case the response was along the lines of WOW, that was done by fans of the game! You could sell this stuff.
Just wanted you to know that the trailer has made an impact even on nongamers...thanks for the hard work, blood, sweat and tears that went into making it.

An additional big THANKS!!!!! from a long-time fan. Played WC1 on the SNES back in '92 or so. Bought my first comp in '98 and fell in love with WC:Prophecy. Spent the next couple of years picking up WC: 2,3, and 4... I even remember being in CompUSA and seeing the WC4 displays way back... God I'm old.
You've brought happiness to this old wingnut's soul and a smile to his face. That's probably the largest praise I can think to heap on any entertainment project.

Another big THANK YOU from me.
I thought the action-scifi-sim genre was dead and i gave und and sold my joystick last month...
But then your mod was realeased, i read an article about it on gamestar and i was stunned.
My PC was too slow to play the WC games in the 90s so I never enjoyed the whole cutszene storyline and dogfight action thing. I first experienced how awesome this genre was with FS1 and FS2.
You gave a whole group of genrefans hope again i guess!
What i like in particular is the voice acting you provided for the game, the story told in the prologue texts and later on and the in flight dialogues. You really get the feeling that you know your wingmen and you care if you see them getting shot but the damn Cats
Maybe you get a job at volition and code FS3 for us ?
)
again Thank you !
