The current baseline Terran fighter, the F-86 Hellcat V, balances offense, defense, speed and maneuverability into an efficient, economical package. The latest Hellcat, while most commonly found in escort of capital ships, is fast and agile enough to hold its own in a one-on-one dogfight and is also well-armored and armed enough to tackle multiple foes and even smaller capital ships. Though not as flashy as the lighter Arrow or as powerful as the gun-heavy Thunderbolt, the Hellcat is considered by many to be the best all-round ship in the fleet and definitely worth its weight in platinum.
