ConFleet's newest fleet carrier, the Lexington class heavy carriers are the new backbone of the Confederation Navy. The most noticeable innovation incorporated into these carriers are three total launch bays, to counter the popular Kilrathi tactic of attacking a carrier’s main launch bay to cripple its launch capability. These ships can take critical hits in multiple bays and still maintain flight operations.

Carrying a full compliment of fighters, multiple defensive batteries, and the heaviest shielding and armor this side of a starbase, the Lexington's are much more than a match for their Kilrathi counterparts. It should be noted that these carriers carry minimal offensive weaponry and rely on escorting warships and her fighter wing for support.

Carriers of the class include the Bradshaw, Kennedy, Lincoln, and the Invincible.
